We are introducing you a new tactile product - Yunhua (Cloud Tea) switches. The term Yunhua 云华 is a romantic coreference of tea. We really like this word because it carries humbleness and implicitness in Chinese traditional culture. Back to the switches, different from most tactile switches in the market, which have sharp and strong bumps, Cloud Tea Switches tries to pursue a very light tactility for daily use. In order to achieve this, we designed several iterations of the stem, and eventually decided on a smoother bump as shown below.
