Group Buy and Pre-order Information
Mech Junkies periodically runs group buys on our site. Unlike typical in-stock products, group buy orders do not ship immediately. To offer more unique products, keyboard community members create designs and share them. If enough interest is shown, a group buy may launch. This process helps raise the necessary funds for a larger, more cost-effective production run. Products offered as group buys will be clearly identified in the title and description.
Group Buy Timeline
Each group buy has different lead times, typically ranging from 3 to 12 months. The start and end dates of a group buy, along with the estimated shipping dates, will be clearly indicated on each product page. Please review these dates carefully before placing your order.
- Group buy start/end date: This is the period during which you can place your order at the lowest price. Group buys typically last for one month. Cancellations and modifications are allowed until the end date.
- Estimated ship date: This is the anticipated date when your order will be shipped. Please note that this is an estimate and not a guarantee. Manufacturing delays can occur and may change this timeline. Increases in shipping time are not valid reasons for order cancellation.
Pre-orders and extras may be offered for sale at a later date after the original group buy concludes. This is not guaranteed, and the pricing for these will usually be higher than the original group buy price.
Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
Group buys require a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for the product to enter production. If the MOQ is not met, the group buy will be canceled, and all orders will be fully refunded. Refunds due to not meeting the MOQ will NOT be subject to the 4% processing fee.
Product Accuracy
All images of group buy products are for reference only and may not perfectly represent the final product. Color variations may also occur due to differences in monitor calibration. Images for all product variations may not always be available.
Modifying Your Order
Orders can be modified while the group buy is still active. To make changes, please contact us with your order number and the desired modifications.
Cancellations
Group buy orders can be canceled for any reason before the group buy ends. Once a group buy has ended, orders can no longer be canceled or modified. Pre-orders cannot be canceled or modified. Please carefully review the group buy end date and estimated shipping dates before placing your order.
We reserve the right to cancel your order for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Fraudulent orders and/or orders suspected of fraud
- Orders that violate our policies
Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
All group buy and pre-orders are final, and we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges due to the custom nature of these products. If you receive a wrong or damaged item, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
All cancellations and refunds are subject to a 4% processing fee.
